Energy Inspections

“STOP”

THROWING YOUR DOLLARS AWAY!

GET AN INFRARED ENERGY SURVEYAND LET US

HELP YOU LOCATE AREAS OF HEATING AND COOLING LOSS!

An infrared energy survey will allow you to actually see where your energy losses are occurring in your building envelope. The FLIR camera enables us to detect heat or cold depending on the season were it is escaping around windows, doors, and structural issues. Depending on the height of the building some of the work can be done from ground level or with the assistance of a man lift or access to adjacent buildings can also be used so that higher stories can be inspected with more detail and benefit from the sensitivity of the system. Also an important factor it this type of inspection it the positive pressurization of the building and can be accomplished through a few different methods.

The data has been gathered our certified Thermographer will then interpreted the information and depending on the customers requirements it can be presented in several different formats such as architectural drawings or in a CAD drawing as well as other choices. The end result is information that the customer can understand and will depict exactly where heat / cooling loss is occurring. By correcting problems such as missing insulation cold air intrusion (resulting in frozen water pipes) and weatherization defects around doors and windows, energy costs can be greatly decreased.

New construction can also benefit greatly from a heat loss survey. Contractors can be shown exactly where problems exist and make corrections while the building is still under warranty.
